Caitlin + Alex's Dreamy Manor House Wedding

Dreamy.... ethereal... dramatic! That's how I would describe Caitlin and Alex's wedding! Their vintage wedding was all tied up with lovely blue ribbons high atop a mountain. Set in Littleton, Colorado, the couple wed in the historic Manor House. Built in 1914, the Denver Times reported, "This building will be situated on the highest portion of the estate and is prophesied to become the nucleus of a colony of summer retreats for millionaires." And so it was. As well as the loveliest venue for Caitlin and Alex.

Caitlin definitely had a vision for her day. She chose my Floradora wedding suite which has it's roots from about 1910. The soft coral pink, sage and blue add warmth and a vintage tone for her day. She specifically wanted the bow at the top of the design to be a perfect medium blue to tie with other details of her wedding day. You can see this same blue carried out through her tags, her menus and even her veil. Just look at her guests- all are adorned in shades of green, blues and sage which adds to a perfectly coordinated event.

And let's talk photos. EmmyLou Kelly shot not only in digital, but film and polaroid. I don't know many other Photographers that would take the time to shoot in three different formats. They resulting photos are lovely, intimate and dreamy.
